Before we kick off our year, we will need you to fill out our enrollment questionnaire by August 31, 2017. This form will allow us to serve you and your child(ren) with excellence during our school year. Thank you!
Please complete your 'Supply Fee' payment by October 15th. Please pay for one 'Supply Fee' for each child enrolled in SOSL Kids!
You will be able to make your monthly SOSL Kids payments here once the school year begins. Each payment will be due on the 1st of each month starting October 1, 2017 through May 1, 2018. Though your payment is due on the 1st of every month, you will have a grace period of 14 days to get your payment in. If your payment is not in by 11:59pm of the 15th of each month, you will have to pay a late fee of $25 on the next monthly payment.
Our childcare prices are set as tuition, if your child is sick or has to miss you will still be expected to pay the full price for childcare.
SOSL Kids will run during Orientation on Tuesday, September 5th. When you arrive, please follow the signs for SOSL Kids and you may drop your child(ren) off starting at 8:50 AM and pick up will be at 1:00 PM. Your child will be eating lunch in their class on this day. Please bring a labeled sack lunch that does not need to be refrigerated, prepared or heated for your child.
Parents of children enrolled in SOSL Kids will receive 20 ministry absences for the school year. This is double the amount that the other students receive because we are aware that you will need to have more absences to balance being a parent and serving during ministry rotations. These absences allow you to manage your life well without jeopardizing graduating from the school.
Your child will have the opportunity to participate in planned activities. The children will learn about God’s love and deepen their knowledge of bible stories. We were very intentional during our hiring process for our childcare staff. Our workers are qualified and safe individuals who carry our core values.
Our hearts for SOSL Kids this year is that the kids would get the same revelations and experiences in their time with our staff as you do. We are so excited for them to experience the school for themselves this year.
We are happy to provide your child with a snack in the morning and also when they wake from their nap. We will have goldfish, cheerios, animal crackers or cinnamon Chex (GF option) available. If those snacks do not work for your child, please provide your own preferred snack, labeled. Please also bring a labeled water bottle for your child to use both throughout the day and also as we will be spending time outdoors.
We would love for you to provide your own pack 'n play or napping mat for your child's nap time in SOSL Kids. We have found in the past that it works best for you to provide a blanket to put over your child's pack 'n play so they are not bothered by the light or workers coming in to check on the kids.
For the sake of consistency, we would prefer to start everyones naps at 2:00 PM. However, if your child's nap time is during the lunch break (12:30-2:00 PM), you will be responsible to take care of your child and be in the room while they nap. Our SOSL Kids workers will be on break during that time and will not be responsible for your child during that time.
If your child is crying and the childcare workers are unable to get your child to settle, a childcare worker will send you a text. If you do not see the text after a few minutes, the childcare worker will text a member of our staff and they will get you.
If your child has any of the following symptoms, please keep your child at home for the safety and well being of the other children. Your child can return after being free from these symptoms for 24 hours.
- Difficulty breathing
- Diarrhea or vomiting
- Yellow or green snot
